    • Able to handle large work force at site.

    • Track the inventory on a daily basis and keep a record of the stock.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibility:- 
    Planning and problem-solving tasks

    • The G.M. is responsible for planning & executing the project within constraints such as time, cost and with International Standards of Quality & Safety.
    • The G.M. must continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the plan and the budget and report to the board, senior management and the client via daily, weekly & monthly progress reporting and by organizing and managing status meetings and board meetings.
    • The G.M. responsible for forecasting, planning and monitoring progress of procurement and vendor finalization to ensure timely execution of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
    • The G.M. should identify, log, analyses and manage potential and actual issues and risks, taking corrective action and reviewing how more serious issues and risks might impact on scope, schedule, quality and cost.
    • Perform cost reviews during the project.

    Communicating tasks
    The G.M. will be responsible for project communication & must be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and with client.

    Team management tasks

    • The G.M. will head the site team as In charge of profit center.
    • The G.M. will identify the need for resource, and should subsequently take on team management responsibilities in relation to the resource available to the project.
    • The G.M. should be able to mentor and motivate site team to optimize performance.
    • The G.M. should be able to create and use Gantt charts, spreadsheets or other appropriate tools to manage people, resources & task.
    • A G.M. will need to be experienced in providing a team with direction and vision, including motivating people to perform, listening to people, providing feedback, recognizing strengths and providing challenges.

    Technical and quality tasks

    • The G.M. must have an understanding of relevant methodologies, processes and standards and ensures that all project team members understand and follow these also.
    • The G.M. is responsible for the project’s commitment to quality – also referred to as fitness for purpose or specification level, and may need to call on specialists to assist in creating or assessing quality standards.

    Organising tasks

    • The G.M. will liaison with client and consultants.
    • The G.M. will create a structure for project documentation& assets and remain conscientious in using it and ensuring that the rest of the team understands and uses it.
